Evergreen Acres is a small, family owned boarding and training facility located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. We breed, raise, train, instruct, and haul locally and nationally to shows, clinics, etc. We specialize in barrel racing but welcome all disciplines. We have and do participate in most disciplines.

Let us introduce ourselves. Steve and Mary Anne live on the premisis and constantly monitor the farm. Steve is the farm's handy man while Mary Anne is the world's greatest groom, both have been 4-H leaders for 15 years. Mary Anne was also the Mt. Pleasant High School Equestrian Team coach for 7 years and Steve is the horse show photographer. Brittany, daughter of Steve and Mary Anne, does the training. She participated in 4-H for 12 years and now competes in the National Barrel Horse Association, International Barrel Horse Association and some rodeos. Dan, Brittany's fiance', helps with just about everything. His family has long been involved in horse racing. It takes the whole family to keep the place in tip top shape! We are always trying to better ourselves, in turn allowing us to further help our students. We have made a strong commitment to education, Brittany went to her first clinic when she was 13. She has since participated in clinics hosted by Richard Shrake, Clinton Anderson, Lynn McKenzie, Marlene McRae, Ed Wright, Martha Josey, Molly Powell, and Charmayne James. Brittany has trained under Gord Wadds and interned with Martha Josey.
